In tempered insulation glass units, thickness of product’s package and keeping the general bow of the glasses inside the tolerances are very important to be able to make a neat installation. For balcony glazing systems, Alcam performs tempering process according to TS EN 12150-1 and if requested, thermal bath test (Heat soak test) after tempering process, is performed on tempered glass according to TS EN 14179-1 to eliminate the risk of unexpected tempered glass explosions dur to NİS. The running-in quality on the visible edges of the balcony closure glass is controlled according to the TS EN 572-8. Humping is an important factor in balcony closure glass to avoid any problems after installation.
